Good Friday Morning. This is Fishers Digest.

This week, 76% of you voted yes to continuing Money Snacks 🎉

I’m excited to keep doing that for you. I would love for you to participate here. Takes ~10 minutes to fill out properly.

This had me thinking about community. Should we start some community-led clubs?

Trail walkers, dog parents, coffee crews, dinner clubs. Join or help start whatever you’re passionate about. If this gets some interest, maybe we can build this together as a newsletter and community.

Would you be interested in joining (or running!) a community club?

In today’s digest:

  • The state of Fishers

  • A snack wonderland

  • Curated events

This issue is 1,176 words, a 3.5-minute read.

The Digest

State of Fishers

Mayor Fadness joked at the address “you know what I think probably the only thing people will walk away with is that we're building a new Target. 😂

Here’s a brief recap of what was announced this week. If you’d rather watch the 1-hour address yourself, that’s here.

Okay, This Is Pretty Cool... 🏠 *

Would you be surprised to find out that the Fishers-Geist corridor is crushing it compared to the rest of Indy? A new report found 7.2% annual growth while the metro average is sitting at 5.8%. And with more developments popping up, it probably won’t slow down.

🍭 Snacks from around the world

testing out gifs in the newsletter… yay/nay?

It may look like just a phone repair shop from the street, but Exotic Snacks Indy is a global snack wonderland tucked away in Noblesville.

What I tried: I grabbed their fried crab and fried crayfish Lays chips. Somehow they managed to pack an entire seafood boil into potato chip form. It's uncanny, almost surreal, how accurately they nailed the flavors.

What they have: International chips, breads, drinks, and candies from basically everywhere. The selection is already impressive, and I’m told they’re just getting started.

Coming soon: After chatting with one of the owners, I learned they're planning a build-your-own instant ramen bar inside the store. Think international instant noodle, heat it up, and you’re good to go.

My take: This place is worth the drive for both the novelty and curiosity. I love the creativity they had to bring this to life.

Find them at 14300 Mundy Dr. in Noblesville and @exoticsnacksindy_ on Instagram
