The Digest
Neighborhood Upgrades 📈
In the past 25 years, the City of Fishers has invested nearly 2.2 million in its neighborhoods.
Over $1.1 million of that funding pie has come in just the past year, with 69 different ‘hoods getting a slice. How it works: the city covers 80% of a project’s cost. The rest is the neighborhood’s responsibility. Not too shabby 🤝
We posted this year’s list here to check and see if your neighborhood received funding.
Top 10 in the US 🐅

With 43 games won in a row, the Fishers Tigers Boys Basketball team is headed to the State Finals this Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. They now have a chance to pull off a back-to-back win, a first in school history.
This 2025 team is so good that it’s ranked #8 in MaxPreps’ handpicked list of the best in the nation.
You have three options to watch this Saturday’s game:
Buy tickets starting at $15/person to see them in person here
Buy a streaming pass to watch it at home, also $15
Watch at a local bar — I would be very surprised if popular spots like Ale Emporium, Parks Place Pub, etc weren’t playing the game
Good luck this weekend!

Ale Emporium’s Hat Trick 🐔 🍺 🍕
Legendary. That’s the first word that comes to mind when looking at Current in Fishers “2025 Best of North Indy” results.
Why?
Because they took home three crowns in Current’s contest with 36,000 user-submitted votes:
Best pizza
Best wings
Best bar food
You can view and read about the winners of the many other categories voted on here.
Inaugural Fishers Sprint Triathlon 🏊♂️🚴♀️🏃♂️

History in the making! The first ever Fishers Sprint Triathlon debuts May 11 at Geist Waterfront Park, powered by FAST. This exciting event features a sprint triathlon, duathlon, aqua bike, and 2-3 person triathlon relay as the race options!
Register before March 31 to lock in lower prices and by May 1 for a guaranteed race shirt. I’m told this may sell out, so don’t wait too long to decide!
Tickets and course route details (swim, bike, and run) are all available on the Fast Tigers website.

And just like that, we’re in the sweet 16 of March Madness — with two Indiana teams left standing. Purdue’s men’s team and Notre Dame’s women's team.
If you want to watch the Purdue game live at Lucas Oil, tickets for the 10:09 pm tip-off start at $200.
If they secure a win, you’ll have another opportunity to watch them locally on Sunday for the elite 8 games played here too.
