March is Disability Awareness Month and the City of Fishers and the Fishers Advisory Committee on Disability will host a month-long celebration to spread awareness of what life is like for those with physical and intellectual disabilities in our community. 

This year’s celebration begins Monday, March 2, with the March Disability Awareness Month Kick-Off and Accessibility & Inclusion Awards in the Theater at the Fishers Municipal Center (1 Municipal Drive). The event is free and open to the public.

What: The NFL Scouting Combine is an annual, invitation-only, week-long showcase in Indianapolis where top college prospects perform physical and mental tests for NFL coaches, GMs, and scouts before the NFL Draft.
When: On field drills are February 26 – March 1

The Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern Boys Basketball Teams will play in the Class 4A Sectional, which kicks off on March 3 and will be played at Noblesville High School.

One of my favorite parts of writing this newsletter each week is researching all the local events. I found one that felt really unique and beneficial for both women in business and girls in middle school, and I just had to share.
