The Digest

Devour Indy WinterFest

Calling all foodies, it’s the last week for Devour Indy WinterFest.

What is it? It’s a citywide dining experience showcasing the best of the local food scene through specially priced menus at participating restaurants. AKA the best time to try new restaurants or enjoy your favorites.

I’ve rounded up all the Fishers restaurants participating and linked their special menus/prices so you can check them out and grab a reservation.

101 Craft Kitchen: American gastropub.

1933 Lounge (Fishers): Speakeasy-style, steaks, and seafood.

Another Broken Egg Cafe: Brunch options.

Derailed at Hotel Nickel Plate: Local dining at Hotel Nickel Plate.

The HC Tavern + Kitchen: Upscale American tavern fare.

Jinya Ramen Bar: Japanese.

Peterson's Restaurant: Fine dining steakhouse.

Thai Kitchen Restaurant: A true taste of Thailand.

The Roost: Casual breakfast & lunch.

Rize Fishers: American brunch.

Salt Geist: Upscale seafood.

Sangiovese Ristorante: Italian cuisine.

Verde Fishers: Mexican.

Voodoo Brewing Company: Comfort food and craft beer.

Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux: Sports bar menu.

You can find all the restaurants participating in the Indy area, and even search by neighborhood, if you want to try a new eatery that’s not here in Fishers.

Hosting the big game or bringing a dish to share? St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce is the ultimate party move.

  • Bold, iconic flavor that instantly upgrades any spread

  • Perfect with the classic shrimp platter — or sliders, apps, and Bloody Marys

  • A guaranteed conversation starter (especially for first-timers… if you know, you know 😅)

Find it at store.stelmos.com or your local grocery store in the meat & seafood section

Tell Them How You Really Feel

The City of Fishers is asking residents for their opinions on where they live. So here is your chance to give your feedback, by filling out the 2026 Community Survey

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and your feedback will help guide City decisions, priorities, and investments in services, safety, parks, infrastructure, and community amenities. The survey will be open through Feb. 24.

Winter Reading Program

I always think wintertime and reading go hand-in-hand. Cozying up with a blanket and hot cocoa with a new book, yes please.

Well if you need some added motivation or friendly competition, the Hamilton East Public Library in Fishers is kicking off a new winter reading program starting Feb. 1. This program will celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics. Readers of all ages can log your reading minutes and earn Olympic-inspired badges. Read 300 minutes to complete the challenge and ultimately be entered to win $25 gift cards from a variety of retailers.

Check out all the details and get signed up here.

Local Business

When One Door Closes…

Houlihan’s at Hamilton Town Center has officially closed its doors, but the company that owns the restaurant, Landry’s, will be keeping the space.

Employees were told that with the raised rent, Landry’s needed a higher price point restaurant to go into the space. They have since confirmed that they will be opening a Saltgrass Steak House.

Be on the lookout for the new steakhouse to open in the next three to six months.

Indoor Activities for the Kids

Indoor Playground at the Fishers Community Center

I think we can all agree it’s freezing here this week, which can make it especially tough to get the kids out and active. I’ve rounded up some indoor activities for you to explore with your littles this week and through the rest of the winter.
