Jeff’s Bagel Run

Bagel and coffee lovers, get excited because a new bagel shop, Jeff’s Bagel Run, is opening in Fishers before the end of the year.

Jeff’s Bagel Run is knows for its fresh bagels made in the shop throughout the day, their homemade whipped spreads, and their craft coffee. You can check out the full menu here.

Another fun thing they do is each week they announce a bagel flavor of the day on their Instagram page.

Their new Fishers location will be the first one in the state.

It’s September, which means it’s Library Card Sign-up Month and the Fishers and Noblesville branches of the Hamilton East Public Library are celebrating in a big way.

During the month of September when you show your library card you will get a special deal at local businesses. A few of my favorites are:

·      a free glass of prosecco or sparkling mocktail at 9th Street Bistro
·      25% off admissions at Adrenaline Action Park
·      a free donut at Parlor Doughnuts
·      buy one get one free ice cream at Kilwins

Here is a list of all the deals from the participating businesses.

This year’s family-friendly event features over 70 artists, artisans, and authors, ten nonprofits, strolling musicians plus a full band, fun games and art activities, and plenty of food and drink for all. Harvest Fest’s goal is to “harvest funds for nonprofits.”

The event takes place from noon to 5 p.m. along the Nickel Plate Trail. Harvest Fest will start at Café Patachou’s patio (8654 E. 116th Street) and branch off into seven “art fields” along the trail, ending at Hamilton East Public Library (5 Municipal Drive.) The event map, including addresses for all the art fields, recommended parking, restrooms, where to find your favorite creative, and more can be found here.
