The Digest
Fishers Digest ➡ Get Fishers.
For two years, I (Skyler) have had the pleasure of writing this curated newsletter for people who used to live here, do live here, or plan to live here in the future.
It’s grown and taken its own shape in ways I couldn’t have imagined!
That is why I'm excited to share that Nate Spangle, founder of Get Indiana, has acquired Fishers Digest. I couldn't possibly think of a better person to continue this for the community. Indiana (and Fishers) is so lucky to have someone as passionate, ambitious, and media visionary as Nate is.
Meet your new writer, Katelyn 👋
I'm Katelyn Marando, wife, mom of three, and Fishers resident. I love sports, especially Indiana sports, great food, playing tennis and caffeine, but not coffee! I'm very passionate about Fishers and the greater Indy area, so much so that I started The Scuttlebutt Club podcast with my sister to highlight local events, happenings, and people in the community. I hope to also do that for all of you with Get Fishers.
What is Get Indiana?
It is the fastest-growing podcast and media brand in Indiana. Some call it the ultimate destination for everything Hoosier, creating videos and newsletters people actually want to watch and read.
Will this newsletter stay the same?
Yes. The same news, events, and fun writing like a friend are all here to stay. Local content junkies and those who love new things about where you live will see upgraded content that should help you get even more out of living in Fishers + Indiana.
Will Skyler still be a part of the newsletter?
Yeah! For a little bit 🙂
If you have supported Fishers Digest at any point, thank you. I hope you continue to support it. If you have any questions or something to say, you can email me here or by responding to today’s newsletter. Now onto your regular programming…

The Boom are now In Noblesville!
The Pacers’ NBA G League team, formerly known as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, moved down to the new Arena at Innovation Mile in Noblesville! Their home opener is this Saturday at 7 p.m., and tickets are still available. It’s such a great way to see professional basketball without having to drive to downtown Indy, and at a lower ticket price.
I got to tour the new Arena at Innovation Mile, and it is top of the line, with beautiful finishes, a large parking garage, and not a bad seat in the place! The area will hold 3,400 fans and not only be home of the Boom, but also host other sports and entertainment events.
It is located at 14157 CJ Way, Noblesville, IN 46060.
