Oktoberfest Events In September

This time of year Oktoberfest events are happening all over the Indy area. Here are some to check out for all things German beer, food, music, culture and more.

Guggman Haus Brewing Co. Oktoberfest
9/16 – 9/20, hours vary, full schedule
They will be celebrating all week with German beer releases, live music and more. This is a free, all-ages event. 

Oktoberfest Kick-off Event
9/18 Friday, from 7 – 8 p.m.
An Oktoberfest event to kick-off the many activations around Indianapolis happening at Upland Brewing Company this weekend.

Lagers in Lawrence
9/19 Saturday, from 2 – 6 p.m.
This popular event at Ft. Ben Campus will allow attendees UNLIMITED POURS of more than 150+ craft beverages. The event will feature all styles of beer in addition to the popular Lager styles.

Cornerstone Lutheran’s Oktoberfest
9/25 Friday, from 4 – 10 p.m.
Enjoy delicious smoked pork and sauerkraut, smoked brats, soft pretzels, frankfurters, pizza, and the famous beer garden. Sing and dance to authentic polka music, plus don’t miss the kids’ activities: bounce houses, face painting, toddler games, and the Root Bier Garden.

7th Annual Primeval Oktoberfest
9/26 Saturday, from noon – 10 p.m.
Primeval Oktoberfest will feature live music from Ghosts on Maple, food specials, stein holding, a picture booth, and special games.

Oktoberfest at the Liederkranz
9/26 September, from 5:30 – 10 p.m.
Bring your family and friends for an evening of music, good beer, and the kind of Gemütlichkeit the Liederkranz has been practicing since 1872.

Noblesville Boom Schedule

The Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ G League affiliate, just announced their 2026–27 schedule. They play their home games at the new Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile in Noblesville.

Their home opener will be on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. against the Iowa Wolves. Single-game tickets will go on sale Sept. 30.

I know a lot of Purdue fans are excited to see Braden Smith continue his professional career so close to home, as he has signed a two-way contract with the Pacers and the Boom.

Number 1 in the Nation

Hamilton Southeastern girls soccer has climbed to become the #1 ranked team in the nation. The defending state champs are currently 10-0 and take on Westfield this Wednesday at 7 p.m.

TradeUp Fest

Tickets are moving fast for TradeUp Fest, which is this Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Riverview Health Arena at Innovation Mile. It features a full day of free music on two outdoor stages, food trucks, an interactive Trades Village where attendees can "try-a-trade" and learn more about career opportunities in the Skilled Trades, plus a ticketed evening concert inside the Arena featuring Larry FleetThe Wilder Blue, and Nora Reese.

Carmel Porch Fest

Each September, Carmel turns people’s porches in the Arts & Design District neighborhood into stages and sidewalks into front-row seats. They have over 70 bands perform, local food and drinks, and the event is free to the community. Check out the band lineup here.
