Rental Caps

City Council will vote on a proposal to limit single-family rentals to 10% of homes in any Fishers subdivision this Monday. The rule would be the first of its kind in Indiana and would prevent investors from buying up houses in Fishers neighborhoods.

Brooks School Roundabout on the Horizon 🔄

Fishers has hired American Structurepoint to plan a new roundabout at Brooks School Road and 131st Street. Construction won't start until summer 2026, so we still have some waiting to do. The project is part of the Fishers 2040 plan, joining the city's ever-growing collection of circular intersections.

New Senior Digs Coming to East Fishers 👴🏼

Looks like Fishers seniors are getting more housing options! The city just gave a thumbs-up to Legacy Living's plans for a new community at 136th and Cyntheanne. Don't worry about massive high-rises, these will be homey one and two-story buildings with pitched roofs.

Legacy Living already runs similar communities in Jasper and Florence, KY, so they’re coming with some experience. The project still needs to clear a few more hurdles, but it's looking good so far!
