The Digest

Here’s what you think about the upcoming Meijer on Cyntheanne Road

Whoa. This is easily the closest a poll has been in this newsletter.

The Meijer is not a for sure thing yet, it still needs to make it’s rounds through the city’s process for developing land like that. The next meeting will be the Plan Commission on July 10th. If you want to provide feedback beforehand, you can always reach out by calling, emailing, or showing up to meetings.

The Nickel Plate Rail is now offering rail bikes. This is a pedal-powered adventure fit for four, and you can choose between two excursions:

> The scenic woodlands and farmland of Northern Hamilton County (8-miles roundtrip, roughly 2 hrs)

OR

> The tranquil White River into downtown Noblesville (20 min each way, with potential for an ice cream layover downtown, roughly 1.5 hrs)

Treks are family-friendly, and not too strenuous, so no need to bring your bike gloves (unless you really want to). More info here.

Low key restaurants you should check out this summer

Watching Zac Efron GIF by Baywatch Movie

Fishers Digest went undercover and tried some of your recommendations for low key spots in Fishers. Spoiler: Albasha, Cheeky Bastards, and I Tre Mori made the top five.

See the full list on the City of Fishers website. And let me know if we missed anything!

May is Bike Month (sorry for the late notice)

Sorry team. We may have failed you by forgetting to mention that May is Bike Month. To make up for it, here is an awesome crowdsource map from Central Indiana Ride Guide. Riders can discover (or add) missing amenities for bikers looking for bike lanes, low stress roads, or local bike shops.

As a side note from the Metropolitan Planning Area, the same website mentions a 2016 study on the top 50 most dangerous Intersections in Indianapolis (including Fishers). Can you guess which are in Fishers?
