The Digest

Flat Fork Subdivision 👋

About 1,000 acres of the Flat Fork subdivision will be brought into Fishers.

The last step before becoming official is a short period until May for anyone who doesn’t want this to happen to protest.

The Fishers website has everything you could possibly want to know if you’re in this area and don’t already know what’s up.

💡 Fun Fact: The City of Fishers is the 4th largest city in the State of Indiana! This annexation will create more separation from South Bend and Carmel who are right behind. Source

💡 Fun Fact 2: At one point last summer, Fortville also expressed interest in acquiring the land, but Fishers had already worked with home builders to get non-remonstrates in place to build. So that petered out for them pretty quickly. Source

HSE Senior Wins Lilly Scholarship 🎓

Japnam Kular just became HSE Schools' newest Lilly Scholar — marking the third straight year a Royal has earned the full-ride award. The New York transplant turned Mock Trial national champ is heading to IU next fall for finance and marketing.

Why is this award a big deal? It offers full tuition, required fees, and a stipend for books to attend any accredited Indiana public or private four-year college or university.

Congrats Japnam 👏
